Three Village Church AUC Graduates
Nathan Madrid, Luis "Bobby" Gonzalez, and Lily Prevost were among graduates of the 121st graduating class at Atlantic Union College. Bobby Gonzalez earned himself a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. Nathan graduated with a Bachelor of Art degree having majored in Theology and a minor in Biblical languages. And Lily graduated with an Associates degree in Science with a major in nursing.
We praise God for the accomplishments of these three. We ask for the Lord's blessing upon them as they use their newly earned degrees in His service.
Trevor Forbes Marries Hyacinth Coote
Sunday, April 27, 2008 --- Dr Forbes and Hyacinth were joined in marriage at the Village Church. The wedding was officiated by Dr Donald King and Leon Thomassian. Both gentlemen are fellow workers in the Atlantic Union Conference with Dr. Forbes.
Financial Peace University Ends
Since the early part of February a dedicated group of close to 60 people have been attending the Financial Peace University program sponsored by the Village Church. Financial Peace University is a life-changing program that teaches the principles of making good decisions with money. FPU is the work of Dave Ramsey. He has a proven track record of helping people with the management of their money. Attendees of the 13-week course at the Village Church were very pleased with the information they received.
